Back to Reality

That's my life mocking me all time,

Chasing me with sorrows, pain and strive,

I run. Run hard,  than ever before,

With my smile I bounce high away, just aiming at the shore,

And I win, I succeed, no sight of a tear near to me,

Rainbow of joyous colors, oh! what a alluring sight to see,

Spreading my wings of contentment, I dance and I sway,

Blissful sight of pleasure is all on my way,

Scornfully laughing I see my life closeby,

I dare not see it, I do not want to cry,

Showing my back to reality, I shut my eyes tight and silently weep,

And into my beautiful imaginary world of happiness I take a leap.
