Stupendous 10 years.

They say in an arranged marriage proposal, feelings takes its own sweet time,
As it takes a while to gain confidence and trust,
With the ease in which we felt connected and found comfort in one another ,
I'm sure this fact is not based on us.

I don't know whether it was  your easy-to-go attitude, your wierd OCDs, your PJs or your smile,
My world had stood still when you took my hand in yours and we walked down the aisle,
In a magical day with birds chirping and skies the brightest blue,
We faced the alter together and said to the almighty ‘I do’.

The past years not being bed of roses, we had our sunshine followed by rain,
But our maturity with a tinge of craziness, always helped in easing the pain.
Not to forget our short term volcanic outbursts, enough to punch each other’s eye sore ;)
With all of this we are together with more compassion than ever before.

Love is now a habit of being used to each other, something unexplainable but true,
An unspoken fact that in need I have your shoulders to lean on and my shoulders are always there for you,
These were  stupendous 10 years for me since your life got connected to mine,
Hopefully we forever have eachother in this turbulent yet mesmerizing world of ours...and grow together younger in time.
