In the land of Maharashtra, bright and fair,

Comes a day of victory, beyond compare.

Gudi Padwa, a festival grand,

Symbolizing prosperity across the land.

Long ago, in a time of strife,

Brave Shivaji led the fight for life.

Against the Mughals, he stood tall,

And on this day, he conquered all.

With triumph's flag, high in the sky,

Shivaji's victory, we glorify.

Good over evil, light over dark,

On Gudi Padwa, we embark.

But not just history, in tales of old,

Gudi Padwa's significance, we behold.

Lord Brahma's creation, fresh and new,

A dawn of hope, for me and you.

From Maharashtra's plains to Karnataka's breeze,

Gudi Padwa spreads joy, with ease.

In Andhra Pradesh, Telangana's embrace,

Different names, but one happy face.

So let the Gudi fly, high and bright,

A symbol of hope, in morning light.

For on this day, we all can see,
